Cyber Kitchen privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-24
Cyber Kitchen ("the game") is made by FromSlop. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and who receives it. The game has no accounts of its own and never asks for your name, email address or contacts.
Your game progress
Your restaurants, staff, cash and items are saved in the game's private storage on your device. If Android backup is on, Android may include those save files in your device backup to your Google account; the developer never receives that backup.
If you sign in to Google Play Games, your progress is also saved to your Google account with Play Games Saved Games (cloud save), and your scores (Clout, lifetime earnings, customers served) are sent to Play Games leaderboards. Your Play Games profile name and avatar are visible to other players on those leaderboards, according to your Play Games profile settings. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy. Sign-in is optional; you can play without it.
Purchases
Purchases of Creds and the VIP subscription are processed by Google Play. The developer never sees your payment details. To make sure a purchase is genuine before Creds are added, the game sends the purchase token, the product and the app's package name to our server, which asks Google Play to confirm it. Our server keeps a record of each confirmed purchase (a one-way fingerprint of the token, the Google Play order number, the product and the time) to stop the same purchase being credited twice and to handle refunds. For the VIP subscription the game asks Google Play on each start whether it is still active. Our server does not store your name, email address or device identifiers. Records are kept for as long as needed for that purpose and for tax and accounting obligations.
Ads
The game shows an ad only when you choose to watch one for a reward. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires your consent (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) the game asks for it with Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time under Online → Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Our server
Besides purchase checks, the game asks our server for a small configuration file (for example, regions where paid crates are not offered). Like any web server, ours briefly records the IP address and time of each request in its logs to keep the service secure; these logs are deleted after 30 days.
Region
The game uses your Google Play store country, or your device's country if that is not available, to decide whether paid crates are offered. This stays on your device.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
- Play without signing in, without watching ads and without buying anything: the whole game is playable that way.
- Change your ad consent under Online → Privacy choices, or reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Delete your cloud save and leaderboard entries from your Play Games profile settings, or by uninstalling the game and deleting its data in Play Games.
- Ask us about, or ask us to delete, the purchase records described above by writing to the address below. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (access, correction, deletion, objection); write to us to use them.
Changes
We will update this policy when the game starts using information in a new way, and change the date above.
